01 — What This Service Is

putpocket.pt/internet is an independent, non-commercial tool that provides a simplified interface for exploring fixed-line and satellite broadband coverage data published by ANACOM — the Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações — through their public geographic information portal at geo.anacom.pt.

This service is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by ANACOM or any telecommunications operator. It exists to offer a more accessible interface for data ANACOM already makes publicly available.

02 — No Data Collection

This service collects no personal data. There are no user accounts, no login flows, no tracking cookies, no analytics scripts, and no server-side request logs that are retained.

When you enter a postcode or location, that query is forwarded to ANACOM's ArcGIS API to retrieve coverage results. Nothing about your query is stored on our side. The response is shown to you and discarded.

If you have concerns about what ANACOM's own infrastructure records when their API is queried, refer to ANACOM's privacy documentation — that is outside our control.

03 — Data Accuracy and Completeness

Coverage information displayed here is sourced from ANACOM's public datasets (Coberturas Disponíveis) and is presented without modification. We do not augment, editorialize, or validate it.

Coverage maps are inherently approximate. Real-world signal depends on factors including building materials, terrain, equipment condition, and network load — none of which are reflected in the underlying data. Displayed coverage should be treated as indicative only.

Do not rely on this tool as the sole basis for a commercial decision, contract, or service selection. Contact the relevant operator directly to confirm availability at your specific address.

04 — No Warranties

This service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind — express, implied, or statutory.

We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the coverage data shown. ANACOM may update, restructure, or discontinue its underlying data at any time; if their API changes, results shown here may be incorrect, unavailable, or stale until we update accordingly.

05 — Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operators of this service shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, or data — arising from your use of, or inability to use, this service or the data it presents.

This includes any reliance placed on coverage information displayed here, whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damage.

06 — Third-Party Data Source

All coverage data is the intellectual property of ANACOM and/or the telecommunications operators who reported it. This service does not claim ownership of that data and queries it under ANACOM's published public API.

ANACOM's own terms of use, privacy policy, and data governance apply to the underlying data. If ANACOM restricts, modifies, or removes public access to their API, this service may stop working without notice.

07 — Modifications

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Given that no account or contact information is collected, we cannot notify you of changes directly.

08 — Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from use of this service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights afforded under European Union law.
